This site isn’t about me. It’s about the happiness and well being of your pets.
Just in case your one of those people who needs to know…I’m a retired animal rescuer with almost 17 years in the rescue industry. I have rescued just about every type of critter you can imagine, domestic and wild. Cats are my specialty. I have worked with and for Animal shelters, Humane Societies, Animal Control other independent animal rescuers and presently I have my own private rescue.
I maintain a 38 cat sanctuary on the Eastern coast of (Central) Florida. We also have a canine, resident mascot named Rex and two cockatiels.
All of our cats (and the dog) are spayed and neutered, vaccinated, well-fed, clean and some are up for adoption. Those that are not “fixed” have either been with me a long time and are considered my “personal” cats or are handicapped and will remain here for their lifetime.
Where rescued animals are concerned, I employ a “no-kill” philosophy but understand and empathize with those who have to deal with the pet overpopulation issue and euthanasias on a daily basis. I’ve done it and its very hard.
I hope we can all work together to bring about the day when pet overpopulation and euthanasia will be a thing of the past. Please Spay and Nueter your pets.
That said, the purpose of this site is to bring you the latest on product safety issues and on the lighter side, to help you keep your animals healthy, entertained and happy with high quality pet products.
All products will be reviewed and tested by myself and our 38 resident felines and our canine resident. Outside, independent sources ( the neighbors dogs;-)) will also be testing the canine products.
The product reviews that I’m doing will be unsolicited, and free of charge in order to stay as unbiased as possible. However, this blog is intended to help with the upkeep and maintenence of the animals at this sanctuary.

We reserve the right to do paid reviews but that fact will be stated within the review itself if and when it occurs.
